The False Advertising of Fascism

In the past decade, daily life has changed drastically. The techbros are fighting to control every minute and second of our attention, relentlessly targeted our minds with psychological propaganda paid for by both foreign actors and corporations,

When it comes to fascism, its important to remember that honesty is not their policy.

They will never tell you they are going to kill you, they tell you that you will be taking a shower.

They will never tell you they are stripping you of your rights and assigning you to sexual and domestic servitude, they will tell you that men will “protect” you.

They will usher you into the doors of a tradwife lifestyle with plenty of promises…but when you are drowning neck deep in screaming toddlers with soggy diapers and spilled cheerios, where are they? You’ll be left with no help, no support and no pelvic floor. They will tell you that the more children you have the more blessed you are, but they won’t tell you that you’ll be chasing those kids around the playground with a vaginal prolapse.

Because they do not CARE. If you drop dead of exhaustion, there is a new woman aging into adulthood everyday.

The “resistance” failed because it had nothing to offer. It was only a desperate attempt to preserve an already crumbling status quo.

Any future resistance that doesn’t have an orientation TOWARDS something will fail as well. I’m sending the bat signal out to all the dreamers, lovers, healers and fighters for truth: We need to imagine a new system. If we don’t completely rip out every last stitch of hierarchy out of our hearts we can only recreate the dynamics that brought us here. White supremacy, patriarchy, colorism, ableism, homophobia, transphobia – all of this has to go because those things destroy true community and connection.

We are so disconnected from ourselves and each other that we can’t even imagine a new way of being so we just try to change our place in the hierarchy. But that is not healing. Moving from victim to victor in a never-ending cycle of emotional and physical violence does not have to be our destiny. There IS NO fulfillment in being the oppressor – just look at the ones we have. Do they seem happy to you? Do they seem like they like their lives and enjoy getting up every morning to greet the day?

We can imagine something new or reach back to borrow from something really old (indigenous) or both.

But we can’t keep doing what we have been doing the past 200 years.

This isn’t about recreating the machine with a nicer face by letting a minority be in charge of the fascism. Its about dismantling the machine – something completely unnatural that is forced upon us – organic creatures who want to live naturally in our own ecosystem free of interference. That used to be a little something in America that we called freedom.
