Being heard, seen and understood are required for developing our own sense of self and our own inner resources. There is no self love without first being loved by another. That is what our parents were supposed to do. Being seen without shame or judgment is what builds our capacity to see and love ourselves. You can’t create what you have never experienced.

What to Expect
Each 90 minute session is a collaborative experience unique to your needs and intuitively guided. Here’s what you can expect:
To be fully witnessed. When you have been forced to hide your pain, abuse or your real self, an important part of the healing process is bringing it into the light and being witnessed with compassion. Vulnerability met with love and acceptance dissolves shame. Shame is a relationship wound so it can only be healed in relationship.
I will reflect back to you the good things about yourself that you have been conditioned not to see.
Once you begin to build a sense of safety you will also build capacity to begin feeling and healing the deep reservoir of pain you have been carrying. We will always honor and go at your pace, only uncovering and discovering what your inner soul feels comfortable exploring in the timing that honors the rhythms of you.
If desired, I can help surface hidden patterns, assumptions or beliefs to bring them into your awareness.
I can serve as a sounding board as you navigate and balance new priorities and identities.

Why work with me? Because I get it. I won’t react with shock and disbelief.
You don’t have to convince me it really was that bad and I won’t take your abusers side or give them the benefit of the doubt at your expense. I will believe you.

I’ve lived this healing journey. I spent my 20’s as a walking, talking symptom list of C-PTSD. I’ve tried therapies that worked, therapies that didn’t work and therapies that made it worse.
The key to recovery and healing is allowing yourself to feel and access the parts of you that you have been running from. The buried grief, loss and heartbreak over the parts of you that were unwelcomed and shamed. We can’t let down our guard to do that crucial healing work without finding a sense of safety. Let’s build that safety together so you can begin discovering your true self.
